Bacterial diseases of wheat


Bacteria are disseminating by seed, soil, air or water and some time by insects. They cannot penetrate the host directly, therefore, need natural opening or wounds for effective penetration. Important bacterial diseases which infested wheat crop are given below:

Basal glume rot
Tundu
