Chemical control of BLB in Pomegranate

Karnataka

1. Before pruning it should be sprayed with 1% Bordeaux mixture

2. After ethrel  spraying or defoliation, Paste or smear with 0.5g Streptocycline + 2.5g Copper oxy Chloride  + 200g red oxide per lit of water.

3. Apply bleaching powder at 8 kg per acre at morning to check the inoculum in soil

4. Spray 0.5 g Streptocycline +2.5 g Copper oxy chloride per liter of water.

5. Next day or another day spray with 1 g ZnSo4 +1 g MgSo4 +1 g Boron +1g CaSo4 per lit of water.

IIHR

1.  Application of 2 - 3 sprays of Streptocycline (0.5g/l) along with copper oxychloride (3.0g/l) at fortnightly interval alternated with sprays of freshly prepared Bordeaux mixture (1%).

Maharashtra (POP, Solapur)

1. Spray Bordeaux mixture (1.0%)

2. Spray with Streptocycline(0.025%) in combination with Copper oxychloride(0.25%) or  Carbendazim (0.15%)    at 15 days interval for 5-6 times starting from leaf initiation stage.

3. If possible, cut ends should be pasted with Bordeaux (10%) paste.
