Chemical Control of Pomegranate stem borer:

Karnataka:

• Inject Dichlorvos 76 EC @ 80 ml/litre of water into the bored holes and cover the holes with wet mud paste.

Andhra Pradesh:

• Treat the holes produced by borer with dicholrovos @ 0.25% and seal holes with clay
• Spray quinolphos or chlorphyriphos @ 0.05%
