Chemical Control of Red Headed Hairy Caterpillar
- Dust 5 % quinalphos @ 20-25 kg/ha against early instar larvae.
- Poison baiting: 20 kg rice bran + 2Jaggery + 250 ml of monocrotophos (for 1acr)
- Dichlorovos 100EC @ 2 ml/l for grown up caterpillars.
- lambda Cyhalothrin 10EC @ 0.6ml/lit of Water
