Chilli anthracnose
Small necrotic sunken areas on fruits and finally fruit get rotten
Spraying with Captafol at 0.2% followed by Copper Oxychloride at 0.25% and Carbendazim at 0.1%.
Chilli Powdery Mildew
Tiny white to dirty grey spots initially on leaves and later they turns to white powdery mass by accumulating entire leaf area by superficial growth.
Spray thrice at 10-15 days interval with 1ml Dinocap or 2g Wettable Sulphur per litre of water.
Before flowering, dusting 8-10 kg Sulphur per acre is also useful.
Chilli Leaf Curl
Newly emerged leaves show curling due to feeding by insect vectors and the virus.
Spray the crop with systemic insecticides.
Like Monocrotophos 1.5 ml or Dimethoate 2ml of Acephate 1g per litre of water.
