Land preparation for rice

 Although rice fields look flat and smoothly leveled, in practice, application of water is not uniform everywhere in the field. Therefore, laser land leveling is a prerequisite for improved water and crop management. In general, lazer levelling is done after every 3-5 years but it depends upon soil tecture, cropping pattern, farm mechanization and other related factors.
