Short duration pigeonpea with close spacing	In peninsular India, the optimum plant population is about 30 plants m2 adopting a row-to-row spacing of 30 cm and plant-to-plant spacing of 10 cm. Cool post-rainy season in India requires 12-30 plants m2.
