Rodent Management in Groundnut
- Major rodent species: Bandicota bengalensis, Millardia meltada, Tatera indica
- Working index: (Economic Threshold Level) Fifteen live burrows /ha.
- Management practices:
- Ploughing of fields to demolish existing rodent burrows.
- Application of 0,005% Bromadiolone in ready -to-use form or wax blocks.
- Repeat above control operation when rodent burrows exceeds working index (ETL) Optimum period for undertaking control operation is flowering stage and pod maturity stage.
