Seed Treatment under transplanted condition

For raising rice nursery, seeds should be soaked in water for 12 h, water is decanted and seeds are mixed with Pseudomoinas fluorescens and Tricoderma (@10g/kg) and stored as a heap for another 24 to 48 h. Pre-germinated seeds should be broadcasted on puddled seed bed. When water is scarce, the pre-germinated seeds could be sown on 15 cm high beds of convenient length and 1.5 m width. The approximate nursery area required is 500 - 1000 m² for transplanting 1 ha.
