10. The Intermediaries like Watandars, Inamdars, Jagirdars were Abolished by Passing 10 Acts, since 1950.
11. Two Acts were passed in Asam to Abolish All Intermediary Tenures.
12. The Kerala Agrarian Relation Act, 1960.
13. The Gujarat State has enacted thirty laws to abolish all grades of intermediary tenures.
14. Four Acts were passed in Punjab to extinguish the rights of the intermediaries and superior interests.
15. All the laws which were in force in the composite state of Punjab (including Haryana) continued to be in force in Haryana.
