Tips for marketing of sona paddy

The past behaviour of the sona paddy prices indicate that the prices are usually high during Feb and March and August - September periods. Hence the farmers who are growing paddy in Kharif season can store for 2-3 months without selling it immediately after harvest and sell in the month of February/March to get better price. Similarly those who grow during Rabi/summer season can store for 2-3 months and sell during August-September to realise better price.
