1. Application of phosphorus fertilizer at optimum dose. The dose may be determined by soil test. in absence of soil testing. 8-75 kg P2O5/ha may be applied. |

1.Number of leaves are low 2.Leaf margins are brown yellow, brown or scorched 3.Abscission of scorched leaves |
a) Application of potassium fertilizer at optimum dose. The dose may be determined by soil test. In absence of soil testing, 20 – 75 kg potash /ha may be applied. |
