Leaf Miner:

Causal Organism: Agromyza flaveola

• Larvae feed by making tunnel in the leaves. The attack is serious during December-March.                                                                                     

Control:

• Grow tolerant/resistant varieties.
• Spray Phosphamidon (0.03%) or Dimethonate (0.03%) at 15 days interval. Stop the spraying of crop at least 20 days before the picking of pods.
